Queenmother Of Sunyani Traditional Council Installs New Sunyani Paramount Chief
The Queenmother of Sunyani Traditional Council, Nana Akosua Duaah Asor Sika Brayie II together with the elders of the Boahen Korkor Royal Family and the Traditional Council the has enstooled a new Sunyani Paramount Chief.
The queenmother on Monday, June 16, 2025, enstooled Dr Osei Tutu, a 63-year-old United States-based physiotherapist as the new Paramount Chief of the Sunyani Traditional Area. He swore the oath of allegiance to the Sunyani Traditional Council under the stool name Ofentemfrem Omenasono Dr Bosoma Asor Nkrawiri III, succeeding the late Nana Bosoma Asor Nkrawiri II.
With this development, the Sunyani Traditional Area now has three individuals claiming the chieftaincy title. They are Nana Yaw Twene Amanfo II, known in private life as Adom Manu, Odeefuor Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II, known in private life as Yaw Agyare and the latest Ofentemfrem Omenasono Dr Bosoma Asor Nkrawiri III, known in private life as Dr Osei Tutu
