“With all due respect, he gave many of you land and a place to live here in Goaso,” Nana Adu Poku said. “So, is it too much to ask for a modest contribution towards his final funeral rites?” He added, “In consultation with the Queen-mother and the Traditional Council, we have agreed that each household should contribute GH¢ 50. We kindly urge everyone to support this effort and not make excuses.”

Nana Kwasi Bosompra I passed away at the age of 58 after a period of illness. He was enstooled as Paramount Chief in 2008 and led the traditional area for approximately 16 years. The pre-burial rites (doteyie) have been scheduled to take place from August 9 to 11, 2025.
