Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II, the Paramount Chief of the Sunyani Traditional Area has announced a two-day event dubbed “Ogyeamansan Party in the Park” to raise support for the redevelopment of the Sunyani Children’s Park.
The event under the theme, “Uniting in fun to reflect on our children’s happiness” has been scheduled for June 7 and 8, 2025 at the Sunyani Children’s Park. This initiative forms part of ongoing efforts by the Sunyani Traditional Council to promote child welfare and enhance public recreational spaces in the municipality.

The children’s session will take place on Saturday, June 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., featuring activities such as a bouncy castle, sack race, and other games designed to entertain and engage children while the adult session on Sunday, June 8, starts at 4:00 p.m.
Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II has called on the general public, especially families, to take part in the event and support efforts to restore the park for the benefit of present and future generations.
