Despite this, the film is finished and hitting cinemas very soon, possibly next week according to him. The director shared exciting news: Burkina Faso’s Arts Minister contacted them directly, showing huge excitement.

Plans are now underway to premiere the film in Burkina Faso too. Because many in Burkina Faso speak French, not Twi, the team will create a French audio version so everyone can enjoy the film. Bentum said Lil Win wants Africans to tell this important African story themselves.
