According to him, “westerners” are behind threats and bribes aimed at stopping the upcoming movie, “Captain Ibrahim Traore (The Last African Hero)”, a film that eulogizes Burkina Faso’s President, Ibrahim Traore for his transformative agenda, inspiring other African leaders.

Bentum stated that, Africans must protect leaders like Traore, unlike past figures such as Nkrumah, Sankara, and Gaddafi who he claimed were killed by the West for not being “puppets”. He also criticized Ghana’s four-year election cycle, saying it’s too short for real progress, and claimed Western-style democracy has slowed Africa down.

Despite the threats received on the production of the movie, he noted that the movie will be in cinemas next week to tell an African story the African way.
