Techiman Eleven Wonders has secured promotion back to the Ghana Premier League after defeating Real Tamale United 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium today.
Frank Awere gave Eleven Wonders the lead in the first half, but Real Tamale United drew level in the second half through Blabala Bamon. With the match nearing full time, Eleven Wonders were awarded a penalty. Farouk Ameyaw scored from the spot in the 90th minute to restore the lead.

The referee ended the match shortly after, confirming Eleven Wonders’ return to the top flight. The team missed out on promotion two years ago after losing to Tano Bofoakwa.
Eleven Wonders, formerly known as B.A. Stars relocated from Sunyani to Techiman in the Bono East Region. The club has had two previous stints in the Ghana Premier League.
Wonders first qualified in the 2015/2016 season but was relegated that same year. The team returned in the 2017 season and stayed until the 2021/2022 campaign when Wonders was relegated after finishing 16th with 40 points from 34 matches.
They now join Swedru All Blacks and Hohoe United as the three teams promoted to the Ghana Premier League for the 2025/2026 season. Eleven Wonders are expected to play their home matches at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman.
